Seperate Grounding strips

My house is approx 45 years old and the main panel does not have seperate equipment ground and neutral ground strips. everything (bare and neutrals) are all connected to the ONE neutral ground strip.

I am installing a sub-panel to service my 240 volt pool pump, 240 volt pool cleaner, and 120 volt light. Total amperage being used if all were operting would be 18.1 amps.

The GE sub panel I bought does not have a seperate equipment bonding strip..........

Do I also connect the green equipment bonding wire from a 4 wire to the neutral bar along with the white neutrals?

If not what do I do?

Thanks

This is allowed in a main panel.

You need to buy and add a separate grounding strip in the sub-panel, and make sure the bonding screw from the supplied neutral bar to the panel is removed.

Subpanels require that grounds and neutrals be separated.

A main panels are the ONLY place they may be connected together.
