New feature

Hi folks,

Just testing out a new feature that has just been added. When someone adds a photo to a post, the little camera icon will appear next to the post. This will happen for brand new posts OR if you add a photo as a followup.

For existing posts that contain photos, the icon will not appear unless a reply is added to the post to bump it back up.

Any questions, please let me know.

Tamara

Oops -- I meant to say that the camera icon will not appear unless a photo is added to the post to bump it back up.

Hello Tamara,
Any chance GW is creating an iPad app, one that would allow direct posting of pics from the device?

Thanks for all the improvements and tech help along the way!

Any questions, please let me know.
Will the camera icon only appear if the pic is loaded via the new Image upload feature.

Will the camera icon appear if the pic is posted via html code like say from Photo Bucket? I'm guessing that it won't appear then.

Sue -- the icon will appear whenever there is a photo in the post; this would include photos from photosharing sites like Photobucket.

Anna -- that's my husband's head. LOL

Geesh - that head looks as grizzled as some around here!

Tamara - can we keep a running dialogue of wish-improvements?

Personally, I would think sticky thread would be first on that list....

Aliris - I love wish lists. ;) Also, the sticky note is something that is at the top of my list, too. Keep an eye out for it. ;)

Denali - WOW! They really could be sisters. Is she a Springer mix?

Tamara -- since you love wish lists, ;)

... I started a thread into which people can hopefully write theirs. I wanted to call your attention to it and ask that you please monitor it? Many thanks!!

Here is a link that might be useful: Thread for posting GW software improvement-wishes

She is part Border Collie we know that the other part is unknown, but we are thinking some sort of spaniel. She was part of a rescue litter.

Denali, I wonder if she's part Field Spaniel. It's a spaniel smaller than a Springer, bigger than a cocker, often mainly black. You and Tamara both have pretty dogs.
