How long is the poem? I do a lot of hand-lettering and I have a few tricks.
You can purchase stencil sheets in a few diff. fonts from the art/craft store. You will be limited in size. And to me, they look like stenciled letters. And, if you do go this route, make sure you fill in the "bridges", or the negative spaces in some of the letters.
I also think there is a place you can send your design to and they'll make a stencil. If you do a google search on custom stencils, it may come up. I don't do it that way, so I don't know the details.
If you're good with a paintbrush, I can tell you how to do it with your computer and tissue paper, making a transfer. But that may depend on how short and or lengthy the poem is. Here's a sample of lettering:

The arts and craft stores like Michaels carry some alphabet stencils, but problably not to the scale you need. Dressler Stencils and The Stencil Library (England) both carry some nice alphabets that should work for you. I have ordered other types of stencils from both.

I don't have any artistic talent, only thing I can draw is straight line ;). so I am looking for something which is easy to make.

There are a few companies out there that make those wall transfers (not sure if that's what they're really called). My friend went to a party (like a tupperware party) and now she has them all over her house...but my point is you can have custom transfers made and I don't think it's too expensive. However, she's on vacation so I can't ask her what the company's name was, but if you want to know let me know and I'll ask her when she comes back.

If you have a steady hand you can also go the tech route.

Compose your arrangement on your computer. Most basic drawing programs will allow you to color just the outline of the letters, or can fill them in.

Print it out on a transparency, and use an overhead projector to shine it on the wall. If you ask around, you should be able to borrow a projector, and they have fairly inexpensive ones at office supply stores. Of course, if you have a computer projector for presentations (PowerPoint or whatever) you can use that instead.

Use a colored pencil the color you'll be painting to draw the outline on the wall. Put up the lights and go over it with paint.

I purchased a saying from Wall Words. Very easy to install. Lots of fonts and color options.

That's a a lot of words, maybe too many for my method. It's not brain surgery, by any means, Although, being able to draw a straight line is a start!!

I briefly checked out that stencil site posted earlier, and it looked promising. They have some very nice fonts, and it looks like you can get the stencil cut as a whole, not just line by line and it looks like they remove the bridges. I just couldn't figure out how much it would cost. They are in the UK, I think.
I understand why you don't want the transfer letters, so maybe do a little more googling. Again, if you want a very old-fashioned method, I can give it step-by-step. If you need some *cyber-help* I'll keep checking your post.

The projector (I occasionally use the Tracer) is a good solution, too!

I've used SayWhat? custom one time use lettering stencils for this type of application before. You can get any font/size you want and they are bridgeless.

Take a look on Etsy. There are all kinds of sellers on there that produce vinyl wall art. Everything from words, poems, sayings and artwork. Fairly simple to produce and they are reasonable. Just type in the search box "Vinyl Wall Art" or saying or letters...it should come up. Great stuff they use it for tons of decor ideas..
