Backsplash advice, please

Have been happily living with my new galley kitchen for a year and considering backsplash in fits and starts. I want something that is quiet and goes with the white cabinets/bianco romano granite. Have concluded it needs to be white and glossy because the light is indirect and anything else gets lost in the shadows. Photos below.

Am excited about a newly discovered option(and of course the most expensive!), which is Ann Sacks Profile glass tile line which I like because it has a little irridescence but is still subtle. Prefer the beehive shape or maybe the one above it, which picks up the rectangles in the glass doors, but worry they might be too busy. Thoughts?

Other ideas have been along the lines of white ceramic 4/4 with herringbone behind stove. Or a white pennyround, although have concerns about keeping it clean.

Any ideas, including a totally different direction, welcomed!
