It's a linen fabric. I don't know the exact name but the interior designer, Benjamin Dhong, does.You can find him here on Houzz. I remember he mentioned that right after they ordered this custom piece, Restoration Hardware came out with a sofa line that was very similar in a similar fabric, and less costly. You could try there. Hope that helps. Leigha
