That's what we want too! I like the mushroom color from kraftmaid. I currently am waiting on cab color samples from my cab guy for BM feather down and clay beige. Decora at home depot also had a nice beige color....lunar I think it was called. That was a good starting off point for me.

It gets confusing as we had two places. My beige/taupe/neutral kitchen is linked below (it's a B&A) and we essentially painted the tops Farrow & Ball Stony Ground and the base cabinets F&B Dauphin. We were very happy with the color and everyone complimented it unasked the moment they came in.

Here are more neutral kitchens -- beige basically. My first kitchen that lisa_a was kind enough to link above (thank you lisa) is actually the color of butter (IOW yellow).

Thanks all! I'm loving the one Lisa-a posted from Boston Kitchen and Baths--Rob Kane and also the pic from Domino3. Since I won't be moving from this house, I'm not really concerned about resale value. But it is not an expected color such as white, cream or wood cabinets. I don't know, but it just seems not quite as stark as white and maybe that's why I'm drawn to the color.
