PRO13 years ago- 13 years agolast modified: 13 years agoWe used Google SketchUp to create a model of our home for our complete house remodel based on firstly our measurements and then refined with measurements from the architect drawings. It takes a while to get used to, but once you have mastered the methods its much easier. There are plenty of video tutorials and also models to download of many items such as cookers, plumbing fixtures etc, which you can search for by id. We have also used it to download photos of tile patterns/colours and create layouts. Its not for everyone, but can be useful if you are trying out ideas. Good Luck with your plans!
