This is my hardest room in the house. I have tried everything to get it organized and nothing works. The room is 8x10 but lots go in this room including washer, dryer, shelves for our food plus I can ALOT last year I canned just over a thousand but this year I'm planning on closer to 2! This is also our mud room so this time of the year it has jackets and winter gear for my husband and I plus our 6 kids. Plus sneakers and boots for everyone. Their closets are not big enough for their cloths plus all this extra stuff. I was planning on putting wire shelves along the back wall with barn like doors to hide everything like shoes and food.. Then that will only give me about 1-2 feet between the closet door and the back door for hooks for jackets! Then put the washer and dryer back with maybe a shelf above for soaps then a painted ladder for things to hang dry! I also need to pick out a Color to paint I was thinking something bold and bright like turquoise or seagreen. My kitchen is next to this room and its white and black Colors. We are planning on pulling up the floor next year and putting down a beautiful black marble that we found!
