You can brighten up your outdoor environment by adding custom art tile. With proper installation techniques it can be applied either on or in front of the fences. It's all in the art you choose to use and the skill/experience of the installer - see my Houzz page for photo ideas

Why don't you move the two benches together with a table between. Maybe get one with a fire pit. Then add planters along the wood fence with climbers to cover the wood. Stain or paint the wood fence to unify it. I can see a setee swing between the trees.
