Can a spray hose be added?

I love the look of this sink for our french country cottage but love the functionality of a sprayer.

Thank you for your question. To my knowledge, without having a third drilling you would not be able to add a sprayer to this sink. You may be able to find a combo faucet that includes sprayer functionality. You can also ask a professional plumber to see what options are available to add a sprayer to this sink.

Does this sink require a stopper or is it built into the sink?

The recommended Sink Strainer Drain is the American Standard 4331.013. (sold separately) Sink has 3-1/2" outlet for kitchen sink strainer drain.

I really don't think that you could add a sprayer to this. You could perhaps install a wall mounted tub filler with hand shower attachment that rests in a cradle. However, the flow rate will be HUGE and splashy and it would not pass inspection. There are no restrictions on flow rate of tub fillers but new faucets flow at less than 2 gallons per minute. I'm not recommending it but I'm putting it out there in case it comes up so that you will understand the risks.

We have had this sink for two years. I love the sink, and had designed the kitchen around it. There are no sprayer options, for this sink. I miss the sprayer TERRIBLY, but am still in love with this sink! The faucet we have took six weeks, to come in, and was pretty pricey. BUT I STILL LOVE THIS SINK! Since we’ve had it installed, it’s cracked. Yes. Cracked. It’s only porcelain, and is subject to cracking. BUT I LOVE MY SINK!
