Select the colors and products that work with your style and make you feel good. Uba Tuba is a more common granite and there is nothing wrong with that. It is also one that is very easy to keep clean and doesn't show staining.

I love uba tuba granite I think it is interesting it always reminds me of looking through river water and seeing the stones it is actually very nice honed or leathered if you want a bit of a new look insted of high polish.

Unfortunately Cambria Quartz isn't in our design options plan, but the honed granite is for a few of the granite choices. Thank you for your inputs!

Uba tuba granite will probably cost less than quartz. There has been a huge marketing campaign to get more people to use quartz, but I have yet to see any that looks as interesting as stone. Quartz is touted as more environmentally friendly, but is actually not as readily returned to the earth as quartz due to quartz' high percentage of resin, aka plastic. Properly sealed (penetrating seal), stone is low maintenance.

Uba tuba has a lot of green. I hope you saw a slab and not just a small sample. I almost bought it until I saw the slab, I'm not a green person.
