I have a large kitchen with medium town wood glazed cabinets and dark brown granite counters and large island with same granite. Light wood floors. Brown backsplash over the stove area. What can I do to lighten the kitchen up. I painted it white and the Island I painted white. I would like to change the color of the granite on the island and change the backsplash. What can I consider while leaving the rest of the kitchen with the darker brown granite. Too costly to replace it all. Thanks for your help.
