If the cat trees are preventing kitty from scratching the furniture, I'd be happy. But, they *are* unattractive. Rope wrapped around wood looks nicer than the carpet, but if kitty doesn't like it, what then? Here R some ideas

Oooh, love the 2nd one!

My daughter hung three wide shelves in a corner. She painted the bottom of the shelves the color of the wall, carpeted the top of the shelves, and put Flor tiles on the floor beneath them. The cats jump on them and love to use the top one as a point to survey all. It took a little catnip to convince that this was for them.

All I need now is a cat ......... or six.

Iceddopio wow that is the coolest cat run I've seen in forever, where did you find that? I'd like to keep an image on hand for a future project. I could not save it.

LOL when reading the title of your post, as it could mean that you're looking for furniture that will help to disguise an ugly cat. But I'm sure your cat is beautiful, and what a fun option iceddopio has shown!
