How about making it into a tiki torch? My aunt took a Chianti bottle wapped with raffia that they drank on their honeymoon, and burned candles in it for years. It was as big as a basketball last time I saw it. Nice memory.

Cut the bottom off and get a lamp kit to make a swag lamp. : ) OH! I just thought...we bought one of these. You just stick it in the top of the bottle and make a candleabra. We filled the bottle with sand so it wouldn't be tippy. Ours uses just tea lights instead of full candles.

I would make a pendant light out of for sure...hanging in some nice little corner of your house! :)

or a lamp base!

Why not just use it as a water bottle - keep it full of filtered water in the fridge?

you could also take it to a glass artist and have them flatten it for a little tray to use as you wish.
