recently planted agapanthus going yellow

I just put agapanthus in my garden that i got from a friends garden. They have only been in two days and they are starting to turn yellow. I have watered them for the last two days one of those was with seasol, because we have had a few really hot Australian summer days. Have I over watered them? Or will it just take a while for them to look nice and green? Lastly should I trim the yellow bits off?
