Jayne, I remember making that block! Your quilting looks great! How do you like your new Performance 5.0? I haven't really used mine to FMQ, I still use my Pfaff straight stitch for quilting, but I plan to use the 5.0 this year for quilting.
I love the octagon shape of your quilt-so creative. This is such a Nice Happy Birthday Quilt and memories of those in the exchange.

Thank you, feeling like myself again. Last year wasn't a good one for us.
The Performance 5.0 has some nice features but I am not completely satisfied with it. Wish now that I had gone with the Jamome I was looking at but there probably would have been a learning curve with that as well and the Pfaff dealer is nearer.
The quilt is a good memory of my friend here on the forum and I do like the block.

Very nice quilt and a wonderful idea to have everyone sign their block. I think your FMQ looks great, I'm still practicing new designs, but not brave enough to put on a finished piece yet.
