Show me your Ribes (currants and gooseberries)

I'm about to plant a bunch of currants and gooseberries and I'm looking for suggestions of how to use them in the landscape. I'd love to hear about (and, ideally, see) how you have used them in your garden. I love the plants but I don't have much experience with them as elements in the landscape.

I love mine too. It has been getting eaten by the deer every year, so I have not seen it bloom for a while. Just moved it into a deer fenced area and look forward to enjoying it again. The variety I have is named 'Barrie Coate' and is especially colorful in bloom. Al
