Flower or veggie? What are you planting this season? Packets are on the racks in stores around here but unfortunately I don't have a proper place to start seeds indoors, so I'll wait until late May to buy mine. Sounds like such a long time away!

Oh my goodness!!! Been going in circles 20 minutes trying to get signed on hate houz Flowers I'll wait & sow directly in the ground been digging new beds - because I overbought the seeds. I ordered from Eden Bros Zinnia Calif Giants, cleome, love lies bleeding, nigella, hollyhock seeds - Hon - have so many... Oughta be bright around here come summer :)

What advantage do you find in ordering seeds online? Most all of those and more I can buy locally in farm stores, big box, and nurseries? Just curious. There are certain varieties of zinnia from Rene's that I prefer, mostly because they carry more choices of colors; but the shipping and handling is so outrageous that I didn't order last year. Do you feel the quality of Eden Bros is better?

Oooo I must look up that company ! I too ordered seeds, from an organic seed company . I ordered from them in bulk , a half pound of zinnias and a quarter pound of a hummingbird wild flower mix. The gas company tore up the front of our lawn by the road . So I decided to cover that area in mixed flowers instead of having more grass put down.

Schoolhouse and cenepk , you must read about winter sowing !! Oh my gosh you would love it . No need to garden off plants , they practically take cafe of themselves . I don't think it's too late either , you should be just fine. It is incredibly rewarding .
