Ceiling fan wiring

I have a new ceiling fan with a light. The fan has 1 white 1 black 1 blue and ground wire. the ceiling box has two 12-3 cables running into it and sticking out of the box are two separate sets of wires 2 black that are connected, two red that are connected and two white wires that are separated. The previous light in the ceiling had two unidentifiable wires, each one connected to a white wire. that light was controllable by to separate switches located on each side of the room. one of the switches is a dimmer. How would I wire the fan saying the fan controlled by the pull chains and the light by the switches. or if theres any other option to wiring it.
