The problem for me is that your wooden cabinet is the exact height of your mantel. And it is dwarfed by the beautiful prominent fireplace. So it's difficult to balance that wall. Can it be moved? I'd put a smaller table with a lamp and a thin tall mirror vertically in that corner. Then you can put up two wrought iron sconces on either side of the chimney. They can be for candles and not electrical. I wouldn't put too much on that mantle as the stonework is the focal point. Intact, those two white decorative pots seem to compete with the fireplace.
