These guys seem to do custom counters and sinks, they might be able to make something integral. Don't know if it would fit the accessories like the Kohler though.

Thanks! I had originally thought we would do a custom sink if we did stainless counters. But I really like all the perks of the stages and I'm pretty sure it is cheaper to just buy the stages than to have it replicated.

You need a lip for the accessories to work properly. Welding stainless is an art that not so many metalworkers can do well. Be SURE to view any welded seams in previous examples of work from the specific worker, not just the shop.

I have cut out an opening in a 304 grade stainless steel counter to match the sink and tig welded and polished the sink to allow for a seamless finish.

In order to go a perfect job, the stainless counter and sink should be both the same grade (e.g. 14 gauge, 304 grade) and no seam on the sink. It takes approximately 5 hours to do so with the counter top not installed and by a pro with a tig welder and stainless rod.

If the counter is installed it's much more difficult and more time consuming.
