50's Pink bathroom dilemma!

Looking for some help with our pink tile 1954 bathroom :) we won't be replacing the tile anytime soon, so we have to deal with it. This is our ONLY bathroom and we struggle with the small space. We have a small linen closet outside the bathroom where we store toiletries and towels. The pedestal sink drives me insane as there is no space to put anything. It looks cute, but serves no purpose. We have thoughts of eventually replacing the entire sink with a larger vanity.
The shower curtain is from target and while it's cute, the pink overload is getting to me. We have white towels since I couldn't think of any color that would work. We are also stuck with the ugly built in towel racks and the radiator...
Any suggestions for wall art? Storage? Shower curtain color? Towels? Thank you!!

Have considered painting the untiled ceiling and walls a dark brown such as Black Bean by Sherwin Williams?

I think that it would look great with the pink.

I would use a floating vanity painted black and a dark brown stone such as Labrador Antique for the counter with an under mount white sink.

a nice beige linen look shower curtain would be a nice change too.

What about having someone put a real medicine cabinet in? Looks like they would have to cut the tile, but you'd gain a lot of storage.

I would actually paint the ceiling and walls a grey. Perhaps Benjamin Moore grey owl. I would replace the pedestal sink with a vanity and have it painted in a darker grey like escarpment and then put a marble or granite that picks up both tones. Something like Paradisio Classico or Bash.

Love the idea of a darker vanity! Thanks for the suggestions:) The current color is Benjamin Moore Moonshine (a very light grey, similar to grey owl)

The suggestions of a brown or grey would both work. Between the two, there's personal preference and also consideration of adjoining rooms.

We had two bathrooms like this...had the tile spray painted...cost much less than ripping it out.
