I get the idea of color but that seems very dark even with amount of light in there between the black of the walls and the piano that could get very heavy, even with the amount of natural light you have. Maybe a mid-tone grey would work better?

I'm painting a gallery wall Valspar Urban Pulse - charcoal brown. I think you can get away with the dark wall. Not sure I like the rug though.
