You might actually consider keeping the brick and the steps. They look to be in decent condition and changing them is pricey. A door the same color as the shutters would be nice, and not clash with the brick. You might also consider picking out some of the detail in the garage doors with the dark color, too, as well as the trim detail above. With your gray roof, you might eventually think about painting the house a more interesting color. A light gray could look very sharp and updated.
