Hi,

I have a 1970's California True Ranch home. Its just a Ranch no Craftsman elements. Just a long single story house with no substantial architectural elements to speak of. I also have a black roof which is preventing me from going too dark yet I am gravitating toward a dark grey with a green door that pops but not sure if I have enough white accents to break it up. I have 3 sample on the wall. My inspiration picture is here as well. My siding is pretty substantial (picture attached) and they are original.

The past owners just went with the traditional theme and painted it taupe with black shutters and a black door with a oval window (not Ranch).Im going to attach some photo's and let you see where I'm at and hopefully get some advice on color, door styles and landscaping. I had to pick a fence and gate design ASAP so that is already in the works plus I had to pick a driveway design so we can enlarge our driveway so my teen had some where to park. It was all dirt and was way overdue! My hubby is a contractor here in Glendora, Calfiornia and he can build anything but he is not a designer. He builds a lot of modern stuff in LA but does everything. What they say about the contractors home getting done last is so true in my case. He is always busy, on someone else's home! He builds for people in LA who have designers, I don't have that luxury so Im coming to you for help. HELP artistic people! I need to order a garage door and front door ASAP!
