Like the weathered effects of cool bonzai! Just a note, but it looks like the plant might be over pottedm witch might lead to more rot. Silk looks good. It is deserving of something better than black plastic.

Naw, it's not overpotted. It had a huge root system when I dug it out of the ground and it's in pea gravel. Plus there hasn't been rot on it in a couple of years. It's in plastic because it has a long way to go before it really looks good. Heck, I haven't even decided what I'm going to do with the top yet.

Nil, I think that looks so cool! Like this scarred little nub that you thought was no good and it just pushed to stay alive. It did not go quietly into that good night. It fought and it won. Gloriously. Seriously, in some ways I think that is the most beautiful jade I've ever seen.

I had the same feelings as Deva33. That plant is a work of art. In a way, the black plastic reminds me just how tough this plant is. It could also look wonderful in a special container.
