Need help with granite!

We are trying to pick out granite in order to upgrade our kitchen. We will have the shaker style white cabinets with black handles but are unsure of the granite. Which one would you choose?

we have cream shaker style cabinets and our granite is very similar to the first one...and we love it :)

Check before if there is ferrit in the himalaya. If yes, you will have rust in the stone after a while with orange spots.
I would prefer the himalaya, but satinato finish.

The one on top has lots of movement and appears more contemporary to my eye. I think either is fine but the himalaya white would most likely be easier to live with. The top one is more dramatic and you MIGHT get tired of it over time. Also depends on your personality, are you bold an out going or more reserved?
