they said it would fit a full or queen and my mattress is too long so I don't know what to do

Tell them to come and pick it up and refund your money they lied so take it back. If you had knowledge about your mattress being an unusual size then its on you.

What is the measurement of the bed length, and what is the mattress length. Lets figure out which one is abnormal.

What country are you in? Matteress sizes are not universal. They vary from country to country, even though they may have the same "name".

Who said it would fit? Did you measure your mattress and then compare it to the "on-line" measurements? Measure your mattress and then MEASURE the product you received and then compare BOTH the to measurements stated on-line.

If you received what was advertised (the frame matches the on-line measurements) there isn't much you can do. If there is a difference, then you have cause to complain/return for refund.
