Best solution for dog's bed in a small apartment

Ok people, our dog do not sleep in
our bed. Sorry pet lovers, but some of us, including “my dog” like their own
living quarters to be private.

After a few tries, I finally discovered
a great way to keep my dog happy and close to us in the living area. I wanted
to find a perfect way to keep the bed visually hidden far away from the eye of
guests, and my intense decorating mind.

I kept trying to find a way to make
the dog's bed disappear and not to obstruct my decor. Then finally I realized
why I was doing it all wrong. Instead of hiding it, it was certainly better to
display it; my dog lives in the house too, right?

So, placing the bed under a clear acrylic
coffee table by the sofa was the best solution. Lola, my dog is quite happy and
feels secure in this clear cocoon, where she can also follow from her bed, at
all times, our every movement. She is also receiving shade from the arm of the
sofa, which covers the pass of the air from the HVAC throughout her bed. She is
happy and my place looks finally impeccable.

Sometimes trying to hide things, make
us realize that they are definitely better if they are being displayed! ...What
are your thoughts?

I totally agree with you. It took me a long time to realize that a dog needs a space just for themselves so they can get away yet still be with you in the room. I used to allow my dog to sleep on my bed with me (and my husband). The last time we bought a dog I told my hubby the dog was not going to be allowed onto the furniture at all. It is all in the training. I have a dog bed in almost every room in my house. We did kennel the puppy every night when we went to bed until she was about 4 months old, she suddenly said no more kennel. But she has her own beds.
