Please help? I want to paint my kitchen cabinets Benjamin Moore White Dove to match all trim work in my house. I love the soft white of BM and have matched my granite to it. The painting contractor will only use Sherwin Williams alkyd paint on the cabinets. He asked SW to match White Dove to the BM brand and it has a yellow tint. I've been told that BM White Dove can only be a true to the color if I buy their brand. HELP! Is there a Sherwin Williams paint that is comparable to White Dove??? The oil in the alkyd paint, I've been told, gives a yellow tint to the white paint. I do not want a creamy yellow tint kitchen.
