We've just converted our living room ceiling into a cathedral ceiling, it's about 12' at the center. The living room is an L shape approx 24' X 24'ish. The fireplace wall is 8' X 8'. I'm thinking of tiling the entire fireplace wall and doing away with the hearth and mantel. I like a more contemporary yet warm look. My question is: What do you suggest? Type/size of tile, etc. (also a TV will hang above the fireplace)
