Any hope for this badly placed refrigerator?

Hey all,

Almost time to close on our house. Very excited. Thanks for all the earlier advice. Now to get down to real business: designing the kitchen. Lots to consider, but for this question, I'd like to focus on the refrigerator.

In terms of accessibility, it's fine. Located right near the range and countertop work areas, so that's fine. But the aesthetics seem wrong. When you walk into the room through either of the first floor entrances (on the right of the photo), the first thing you see is the side of the refrigerator. Also, for all practical purposes, the countertop space to the left of the refrigerator is useless. My feeling is that the fridge belongs against the wall to the left of the picture. But since it's a french door refrigerator, it will need some space to ensure that the right door can open.

How would you guys deal with this issue?
