Are you attached to the bedding? What does Phoenix sweet cream look like? I think I'd love a more monochromatic scheme and better lighting.

I would paint the walls SW antique white or a white which is in the same tone as your new rug. Hard to tell on my monitor. It will highlight your trim and door and give a great back drop for your bed.

I would paint a soft straw color--the lightest gold in your bedding fabric.

I'd go a shade lighter than the green in your bedding and your carpet on the walls. It would lend a cheerful fresh look and still be calm and restful.
