    Its small size and flexibility make it a great choice for single rooms or add ons, especially where ducts may not be an option. Each zone has its own thermostat. This could be a huge cost savings as you’ll only treat the air in the zones that you want air conditioning or heating. Since it is ductless, it is quite efficient. Mini-Splits are great for Indoor Air Quality as ducts are known to collect dust and other contaminants

    Like all air conditioners you need to know how many BTUs you need to cool or heat the area you are looking at installing your mini split in. You also need to consider the number of air handles that you will need for your application. Normally one air handler per room is what you would need but, if your home has open areas you may be able to cool multiple rooms with just one multi-zone outdoor unit.
