There was an existing brick pathway here though it was narrower than the current one. We did rebuild the step at the front door also. The existing brick had been there for decades so had a nice worn look. The mason took several bricks to the brick yard and found a line of bricks that looked similar in color and size. Those were Bessemer style by Boral Brick Co. He chose several different colors from different batches to try to emulate the existing brick variety, then mixed them in with the old brick as he laid the new path and step.
