Looks like you purchased a great selection. All my purchases should be showing up the next couple weeks. I can hardly wait. My beds are empty, the soil amended and because of the long winter...I am rested and ready to dig.

Enjoy your new plants. I cannot wait to see photos of them planted up in your gardens.

Lovely, Dave! I'll look forward to pics of them planted out in your new beds. A little conifer envy/appreciation is a good way to start the day. My CK order will ship tomorrow and I'm getting antsy. Congrats on the new babies!

Great choices Dave! I'm not sure if I'm reading this right, is the one on the far left Picea abies 'Susan'? Those blue tones look exceptional for Picea abies, I've only seen such colors on 'Suncrest' so far. Thanks for sharing

sc77, Yes the one on the left is 'Susan' It was found by the manager at Mitsch Nursery, Susan Jones, as a chance seedling beneath a 40+ year old Weeping Norway Spruce. HxW@ 10 yrs: 8x2'. I had comments about the others but houzz would not give me the room offering limited wording.

i bet your local drug pusher is bummed you went mail order ...

is this for that bed redesign.. or are other plants being sacrificed to the green man???

Wow, what a nice selection of new plants! You've got to love the quality of CK stock.

It looks like some of these are in larger sizes than what's offered on their site, and some of these aren't even being offered from what I can tell.

How's the renovation/expansion project coming along?

All the new brick and grading completed and one layer of pea gravel in to hold soil. I moved and transplanted 12 conifers to fit the bed and have about that many more new ones to go in plus boulders and larger pond pebbles. Some fun. New back and replacement knees should complete the task.
