Are you interested in white flowering crabapples only or are open to others? Courageous is white flowering, is sterile and rated to zone 2. Spring Snow is also white, sterile and a zone 3 tree. Gladiator, Rudolph and Thunderchild have varying degrees of purple foliage, pink flowers and zone 2 rated. Shaughnessy Cohen has pink flowers, small red fruit and hardy to zone 3. Radiant has deep pink flowers, rounded form, red fruit and hardy to zone 3. Those are pretty much the ones available around here. Hope that gives you something to mull over!!!!

We already have a red one, Makamik , something like that. I thought it might be nice to have a white one to but it really doesn't matter as long as it's hardy. Thanks.

Are you only interested in flowering crabs or would you like an edible or jelly crab?

Actually I've tried the jelly before and don't particularly like it. The crab we have is ornamental, very fragrant and a deep pink color. Foliage starts out purple in spring and turns green in summer.
