Need help selecting my kitchen backsplash

I have cream color cabinets in my kitchen. I want to do caesarstone counter tops either 2003 concrete, or 4030 Pebble. Our walls are Shiitake by Valspar Signature paints and our floors are a dark espresso wood. Any ideas for backsplash? I'm not sure of what colour or material. I was thinking an etched stainless steel or subway tiles.

I am not liking the gray counter with the cream cabinets,& wall colour so I guess I would be rethinking the countertop colour and find something with some brown tones to go with the warmer brown tones you have going on. then come back to us for backsplash ideas.

(also, a photo of all your chips and samples helps us visualize. agree, though, that I was surpised by the mix of grays already...)
