Hmmm....well, I live in Indiana, so I can't say how Pacific tree frogs are, but I have tree frogs here in Indiana.......and I love them! I would rather hear them than traffic or people! Our tree frogs lay their eggs in the water. I have small stock tank ponds. They make hundreds (or more) tadpoles, but only a couple seem to survive (they just disappear). I'm thinking they will have very little effect on your pond, and I would welcome them! In fact, they are probably good for the pond. But let's see what others who live closer to you have to say.

I have a 14' pond and two 5' ponds and there have been PT frogs in all 3 of them for about six years now. I have to close the kitchen door to be able to talk on the phone when they are yelling from pond to pond. I love them! I have never seen any damage to the ponds. I'm sure that yours would love to have a few floating plants to sit in like mine do. Min

Thanks everyone. I added a couple of water lilies and some water hyacinths. From what I was told the water hyacinths multiply like crazy! The tree frogs are so cute, I see them in the lawn a lot, probably on patrol for nasty bugs so good for them.
