My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Extraordinary designs! Question about exterior siding

Can you please tell me what the exterior (wood?) siding is and how it was finished ? Looks great but I have some longer-term maintenance / appearance concerns in this or almost any climate ?

    The wood is mangaris hardwood, imported from Indonesia. If properly sourced, a sustainable material. Hardwoods used on the exterior need to be carefully installed over a well drained and ventilated rainscreen, otherwise cupping may occur. The wood is finished with Sikkens Cetrol, that requires yearly maintenance in the coastal location of this home.
