This kitchen remodel in Orange County was designed by the talented Mike P. with Mr. Cabinet Care.

Our clients chose a shaker style cabinet painted white with contemporary pulls.

Cool features:

Stainless steel appliances
Tile backsplash
Hanging light
Glass cabinets
Two tone black and white cabinets

What do you think about the marble countertop for the island? Yay or nay?

The marble looks nice. Hope it stays looking nice. I would've gone with a quartz in a marble look alike. I do not like the black framed cabinet doors. Sorry. Everything else is stellar.

Love that marble island. I like the black in cabinets but wondering why you didn't incorporate more of it. Maybe by doing all of the uppers in black or even doing a black crown or something. Is the island black? The black is kind of cool, but looks like it was thrown in at the last moment. Know what I mean? Beautiful kitchen though.

The marble is amazing. I would have preferred a bit stronger crown--just a simple style to complement the shaker cabinets. But to each her own.

I think it flows really nicely. I love white marble and think that the grey in it adds life. Great choice!
