The first one looks like the best match of them all. You can buy unfinished wood flooring and then have them stained the color of your existing floor.
Does this area have to be wood ? Could you put tile ?

It leads into the family room. I want to pull up the carpet and lay the wood.

I like the first one, if you're not going to try to match/weave the floors. But could you run a different transition strip between the old and new floor? With an entirely different color or material transition, I think the 2 floors which are "close but not exact" it might trick the eye. In your picture just put your finger where they meet and see what I mean. Maybe a flush stone threshold or something like that? Just a thought.
