I am moving 2 hours north of my home town to Columbus, OH. I am having trouble figuring out which neighborhoods are safe and which are not. I realize the areas where there are bars on the windows and doors are not as safe as others and I should avoid them, but how do you find a neighborhood where you will be welcome?? I am looking at a house in the walnut creek addition and another in the suburb of Gahanna. They seemed nice but I want to make sure before I buy. I am trying to stick to east and north columbus to be close to the job I am starting. Anyone familiar with this area?
