LVP vs Strand bamboo

I'm looking for advice from folks on commercial grade lvp vs strand bamboo. I have access to designer pricing on lvp since I'm a designer in a commercial office and I can get contractor pricing for the strand bamboo through my brother in law. I thought we were going to go with lvp until a coworker mentioned she doesn't like the feel of it, but likes her strand bamboo...but I think she has cheap lvp and expensive strand.

Our needs/concerns:

1) we foster dogs, usually 2 large breed dogs in the house

2) will go throughput our split level house, including kitchen. so install over conc. slab and wood subfloor

3) need floating installation due to asbestos tile in one room, we plan to install right over it. We will install, between myself, surveyor hubby and tile\granite contractor brother in law we're pretty competent.

4) want medium color with good pattern and texture

5) resale, we will stay here for a while buts not our dream home so I'm worried some will not like the lvp

The samples I've looked at the lvp without texture falls short for feeling under my feet, the textured kinds feel nice. The strand sometimes awfully shiny. I'm worried about the durability of strand. I think lvp will be nearly bomb proof but will it feel good? A bonus is with bamboo we can likely get stair treads and risers to redo the stairs...

Any thoughts, recommendations or experiences?
