Need help picking a neutral color pallet to brighten this house. We are going to rip up tile and replace with hard wood in foyer. Then stain all wood to match, probably a little dark but not too dark. Also will change lighting - maybe something with crystals to bring in more light? I need some paint choices to start with to brighten. These are pics of just foyer and dining room. There is a dark living room, den and bathroom. I'll post separately or try to attach. We are trying to invest minimally at first - strip wallpaper, obviously. Maybe add some molding. I guess we start with paint and colors? Furniture and rest of home is sort of warm colors, so greys will probably not work (I wish because I love a good greige!) help! Any and all suggestions appreciated.
