This is a 1980's contemporary home. The kitchen is very dated and the appliances do not match. There is a creamy yellow formica countertop. We need to quickly get the home on the market but get the most money for the house. The thought is to have someone come in and say "Oh, I need new appliances and countertops", rather than "We'll need to tear out the entire kitchen to update this". I'm thinking a cream color cabinet with a touch of yellow. This would brighten the small kitchen up and make it look more modern. I don't like the idea of painting wood but I think it would be better than refinishing the cabinets, cheaper and quicker.
