Thank you for the question...it's actually Hardie Panel. It was painted with different textures to look more bold and more interesting as you get closer to the house. If you are close to the panels you can also see there is a screw pattern visible as well. They almost look like rivets. Most contemporary homes that use Hardie Panel typically try and hide the fasteners, but I feel like although it was difficult to execute, the result was much more interesting.
