I live off grid in the mountains. Ive managed to live like this for years without learning about how the system functions.

I now need to replace the batterys as they are super old, maybe nearly 15 years old and there fore not storing energy.

I have 6 X 24 v. / 32watt solar panels and 1 X 12v. 120watt panel.

and a small wind generator but we haven't been using that for a while as it wasn't working well (either there was not enough wind or it wasn't wired in correctly!!)

I used to have 6 x 12v /225 amp hour battery.

Can any one help me with what I should replace them with.... I was planning to just get a couple to start with and then get more as I could afford to. however I just heard about the Tesla power wall and wonder if this is a viable alternative . It appeals because its Tesla and also because it looks simple and I dont need to understand about battery configuration 12v and 12 v set ups etc....

Sorry to be such a numpty but any advice or help would be very greatly received!!
