need window covering for bathroom window

Just remodeled master bath and took out the mini-blinds; need something on the window for both function and aestethics--to keep out the light and to bring some softness to all the chrome, tilemirrors and hard edges. The shower enclosure is all done in glass linear tile (sort of pale green/sea glass, with some white and gray), chrome fixtures, gray marbled softly with white and some brown, espresso colored vanity, walls painted "Manhattan Mist" (Behr??). Maybe a Roman shade? Thanks.

Because you're looking for bathroom window coverings, you'll want to
make sure the ones you choose are moisture and humidity-resistant. Avoid
real wood blinds. The moisture will cause them to warp and bow. Faux
wood blinds are great in bathrooms. Top down/bottom up shades or
Trishades (which are 3 shades in 1) are great, too. You can open the top
of the shade for some natural light and keep the bottom closed for
privacy.

Look for a fabric with the colors of your shower tile. That should make a lovely roman shade. Or consider 4" plantation shutters which look more contemporary than the smaller louvered shutters.

i have the same dilemma but am concerned about moisture with the cellular shades. please share your advice

I used a can of paint on the glass. I can't recall now what it was but you could check with Lowes/ Home Depot. It fogged the glass. You can't see thru it but you have light.

So far so good with the cellular shades! I did put a decorative film on the glass (from Home Depot) and it looks nice, just not quite "finished."
