No problem, just showing off a little. We've been living and working through a whole house remodel, and the kitchen is almost done. Houzz did a story yesterday about making white kitchens pop, so here's how we did it. It's not an antique, it is reclaimed wood, bluestone top, weighs a ton, but it's just right for the space. Since it's not built in, we can move it around (slowly, that weight thing). Found it on Houzz.

We certainly wouldn't put a very old, delicate ‪‎antique rug or an extremely pricey rug in the kitchen. However, personal experience and a little research have taught us that ‪Oriental rugs and runners are surprisingly resilient in the kitchen. With their very colorful and graphic patterns, Kilims do well in kitchens too.
